


Benjamin Mouton

Actor Benjamin Mouton first became interested in acting through his association with
his high school teacher, Novalyne Price Ellis, upon whom THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD screenplay in based. He has had featured or co-starring
roles in eight feature films and two television hits. His credits include BASIC INSTINCT, FLATLINERS, WHORE, FALLING
DOWN, L.A. Law, and E.R. He has worked with such acclaimed directors as Joel Schumacher, Paul Verhoeven,
Ken Russell and Roger Vadim. Moutons theatrical credits are many and span New York City and Los Angeles.
Professionally trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City,
Mouton received the Academys prestigious 1984 Jehlinger award. Upon graduation, Mouton was encouraged to move
to Los Angeles to embark upon his film career. Ironically, Moutons first film role took him back to his home state of Louisiana where he co-starred
with Jennifer Jason Leigh and Eric Stoltz in the New World production of SISTER, SISTER.
